Before I share our Final Four with you, let's look back at our esteemed Elite Eight competitors. Some of the authors got involved on Twitter, and the students loved it! Unfortunately for a couple of our Twitter authors, Adam Gidwitz and Chris Grabenstein, they did not make it to the Final Four round. It was a close race in a couple of the contests, but Harry Potter is a force to be reckoned with!
We have narrowed our March Madness book competition down to the Elite Eight! Our F.AVE students are showing us their diverse tastes with these eight titles. We have realistic fiction, fantasy, fairy tales, adventure, mystery, humor, and tragedy. Harry Potter is the series to beat, with two titles still in the contest!
The Final Four will be chosen by this Friday! Students can vote in Google Classroom. F.AVE students have spoken! We have narrowed down our favorite books to the Sweet Sixteen! Students will vote through Wednesday to choose our Elite Eight. Will there be upsets? Will Duke...ooops, I mean Diary of a Wimpy Kid go home? Will UNC....ooops, I mean Harry Potter take it all? STAY TUNED! Also, National School Library Month is coming up in just a few weeks! We have some fun planned!
Last week, F.AVE students nominated their favorite books to compete in our annual March Madness competition. Based on those nominations and on our most widely circulated books, we have chosen 32 books to compete in Round 1! Students will vote by this Friday to choose our Sweet Sixteen!
